I like to be introduced as “a lover of God, husband to one, father of five.” That captures the things that matter most. My life with Amy, our children, and our grandchildren has shaped both the man I am and the words I write.
The first twenty years of my adult life were spent in the United States Air Force. That season formed habits of steadiness, discipline, and responsibility that have stayed with me ever since.
Later, much of my professional life centered on research, teaching, conference papers, technical reports, and careful academic language. I wrote more than 100 research publications. That work taught me precision and the responsibility of saying what I actually mean.
Now, much of my time is spent serving in men’s ministry, teaching, developing the Kingdom Prayer Armory, and writing. The subjects have changed, but the central work has not: using words to help people see clearly and respond faithfully.
